Princess Eudeja, Goddess of Narcolepsy Eudeja ready for Lift Off!!
Deja is at the hospital for her sleep study. She sleeps there tonight and will be woken up in the morning. Through the course of the day tomorrow she will take 2 naps and be monitored awake and asleep. Between her name real name of Eudeja (Deja is a nick-name)and the electrodes, one might mistake her for an Indian Princess. That's all I could think of when Lori just sent me this picture she took on her cell phone. So for the next 24 hours, I shall call her that. My Princess Eudeja, Goddess of Narcolepsy. I hope the neurologist can pinpoint how to fix her. She is so tiny. They are saying that they want to start her on meds. The meds are used now for narcolepsy only on adults. Why? Because kids don't have narcolepsly. It doesn't strike until late teens. Oh Deja, my sweet little baby. You dare to be different. Poor Lori has so much on her plate right now. Between Deja and Brittni, she has her hands full. So Lori in her infinate wisdom has decided to do what any mother would do in this case. Spring vacation starts on Friday and she and the three girls are jumping in a rental and heading for Disneyworld! Well, it isn't quite that impulsive. A friend of Lori's is paying for the trip. She lives 4 or 5 hours from Disney in Crestview. Lori and the girls will be there all week and do a day trip to Disney. The girls think they are going to Maine. This will be good for all of them. The girlfriend just went through a divorce, so it will be good for her to have Lori there too. She wants Lori to move down there, so Lori will be checking out things during the week and see how she likes it. If they do, she may be moving there. This is NOT a good thing for Grandma. This is what I meant the other day when I said I had something else going on here. This is not very good for Grandma at all. If she decides to move, she will do it with my blessing. She is 31 and a grown woman. She needs to make her own life. But I don't have to like it. By the end of Summer, sister Stella will be moving back to Maine. Carol moved to Arizona. That means that by the end of summer, It will just be me, Terry and brother Pete here in RI. I'll be ok. Sure I will.
