Going to Break My Promise Not to Bore you. I know I wasnt going to bore you with the details of my diet. Ok, I lied. I am posting about it today because I got this neat little tracker thingy and I want to stick it on, so if this bores you, you can skip this post. I just started this yesterday morning. I have eaten more food in the last 30 hours than I have eaten in the past month, I swear! That may sound like a good thing, but Im used to having coffee in the morning, a doughnut at 10, lunch is swallowing a pizza or something because by then Im starving. Then sometimes I eat dinner, sometimes not. Not very healthy, I know, but Im a creature of habit. I eat to live. I dont live to eat. This is a whole new world to me. This new world includes, at least for the next 6 weeks, NO sugar, NO salt, NO dairy, NO alcohol and NO fat. None, zip, nadda. Its not quite as bad as it sounds. The upside is that Im a salt-aholic and a candy-aholic so in the first 24 hours I saw a change that floored me. I went to take off my shoes last night and I almost fell over. I saw my ankle bone!! I never see my ankle bone at night. Not in years. Not even 4 years ago when I went down to 132. This tells me how much salt I was eating and how little water I was drinking. Another plus of this plan is that I have to eat some carbs with every meal. Oh, and its six meals a day. You have to eat 5, but the sixth meal is optional. I eat fresh fruit for breakfast with my oatmeal and hard-boiled egg whites. That is much better than coffee, huh? Oh, and is is now black coffee with my nutra-taste. Thats going to take some getting used to. I have dropped 3 pounds already, but of course that is all water. When I hit 5 pounds, I will know its working. Still nothing on the moving yet. We are cleaning and getting rid of stuff on a daily basis which is why I am really getting behind on reading my diaries and posting, but hopefully that will change eventually. We can only through out so much. Well, time to start dinner. Pork chop, potato and salad. Yup, thats doable. Oh, and lets not forget the Mrs. Dash. My new best friend. Cya! Later, Cosmic
