B-R-R!! No, I'm not cold. That just means Bitch rant and rave. The Miracle
One morning a man comes into the church on crutches.
He stops in front of the holy water and splashes some of it on
both of his legs, then throws away his crutches.
An altar boy witnessed the scene and runs into the rectory to
tell the priest what he'd just seen.
The priest exclaims, "Son, you've just witnessed a miracle!
Tell me, where is this man?"
"Flat on his ass, Father, over by the holy water."
Ya, I know. This little Protestant is going to hell. But admit it. It was funny. Ever have one of those days where the weather was perfect and everything you wanted to happen did? Ever have one of those days that nothing anyone said could get you down because you were is such a great mood? Did ya? Did ya ever have one of those days where everthing in you life seemed like it just couldn't get any better? Well la-de-da and good for you. People like you piss me off! Not really. I just sort of thought I'd toss that in there. The weather today was perfect. Seriousley. Of course it would have been even better if I was actually enjoying it instead of just hearing about it from everyone coming into the office. But ya ever notice that always seems to happen. People will come in all day long and just have tell you that it's a shame you are stuck inside because it is so "GORGEOUS" out. And then they go one better and add that you really should be outside. Well ya, I just want to be in here with three other menopausal women that insist on having the A/C at -50 degrees. I would much rather be inside smelling the wondurful aroma of suntan oil on your body rather than the flowers that are blooming right outside the window. And I really enjoy it when you insist on telling me that you have to run because there is a spot at the beach with your name on it. Just for the record, let it be known, that I want to slap you people up side the head and knock that stupid grin right off your face. Stay out of my office from now until December unless it is foggy, raining or hell is freezing over. Thank you for your time. Well, aren't I just the happy camper today? I'm not in a bad mood. I have the summertime blues. I want to go play. I want to go to the lake. I want to whine and bitch and complain because my momma always said, if your going to do something, do it well. I bitch and whine rather well, don't you think? I want to move. I want to get where I am going to be living and put things away. Hell, I would be happy just know when and where I'm moving. I am not a patient person and this limbo is driving me nuts. Hopefully it will be settled before too long. I really want to be in before the end of summer and be able to enjoy some of the outdoors on the week-ends. I am really yearning (does anyone still use that word?) to sit out in my yard and have my morning coffee. Is that too much to ask? Really? Ok, I'll shut up now. Or not. If you notice, my little ticker car went another pound. Thanks for the support. I shall endeavor to stick with it another day. Thanks to Summer-Galefor this:
