Remodeling and Such Saturday already! I need about three more vacation days! I have stripped the wallpaper boarder from the livingroom. All except a stretch of about 6 feet. Today that will be done. I have washed all the venetion blinds and I will wash the walls today. Last night while watching TV, even my feet hurt from all the up and down off the ladder. Wednesday, while I work, Terry will paint the living room. It amazes me how he can paint an entire room including the ceiling from a wheelchair, but he does it. If I tried painting around the window casings, I would get more on the casing than on the walls, but he does it just fine, go figure. I have had plastic covering my computer for two days so I am going to try and play catchup with my diary reading later today. 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 The weather has been fantastic this week. I have had to run here and there picking up stuff for the living room and haven't had to zip my coat at all! That will change today. The temperatures have been in the high 40's all week, but today at 8:30 the temp is only 26. Brrrr. Oh well, April is only 3 months away. And the snow is all melted away. 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 We have our twice yearly employee dinner tonight. We are trying a new place. It is supposed to be fantasic. We'll see. I'm having stuffed shrimp and Terry is having Prime rib. That way we get to swap half and enjoy both. The food is usually very good at these things. No entertainment, just dinner. But hey,free food! 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 We had my brother over Thursday night for dinner. It was his birthday on the 7th, but he had to work, so he came Thursday instead. I am bumming. He collects VHS and DVD's. He has quite a collection going. He had been searching for ages for a 1971 movie titled Vanishing Point. I tried to find it on e-bay. They are going for 35 to 50 on e-bay. That figures. Something doesn't neccesarily have to be good to bring in a huge bid, it need only be rare. The movie is out of print. I did find one for 6 plus change on Alphacraze.com and ordered it over two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I lost my tracking number and they don't answer their e-mails. I phoned them and got an answering machine. They don't answer their phone messages either. I am going batty trying to find out if and when they did or will ship it. I gave Pete an IOU for the movie in his card, but I fear I may never get it. I went into bizrate and checked this company's status. A lot of negatives. Live and learn. It may simply be that they are very busy. I hope so. 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 Sister Carol and BIL Bob are in Texas, I presume. I haven't heard from them. They were to arrive by train yesterday and call me. I haven't heard from them yet. It may simply be that they are just busy. I hope so. It is strange not seeing the little smiley face lit up next to their name on Yahoo messenger.
